Start Date: In line with dates of the LAA Programme dates.

Learning Outcome:
While in College (TU Dublin) one day a week, we will support the programme’s “learn as you earn” approach. 
To support the learning outcomes expected of your employment with us, we will look to place you between one or more of the following business areas:
* •    Air Freight
* •    Ocean Freight
* •    Road Freight
* •    Customs 
* •    Warehouse & Contact Logistics
You will have a mentor assigned who will work with you on a personalised individual training plan to put some of the knowledge learned on your course into practice. 


Examples of Responsibilities include 

•    Work with our partners to fulfil ecommerce orders from around the world.
•    Liaise with airlines, hauliers, brokerage and operations teams globally.
•    Reporting on delivery performance and exceptions such as loss, damage or delays.
•    Data entry and job processing onto our TMS (Transport Management System)
•    Booking, updating and invoicing jobs.
•    Working closely with both internal and external colleagues to support the business.
•    Ensuring exceptional customer service, with an emphasis on proactive communication.
•    Communicating with customers daily both by email and phone.
•    Assisting with or completing quotation of freight rates.
•    Import and Export Customs formalities & declarations.
•    Managing shipments of temperature controlled and/or hazardous goods.
•    Update track & trace milestone
•    Complete & report on internal and external performance & compliance metrics.
