MGT Foods Ireland Ltd is seeking a Procurement and Supply Officer for our restaurant  KFC in Galway.
The successful candidate will analyse purchasing and supply data to identify demand patterns and operational requirements; prepare procurement forecasts based on historical consumption and projected business needs; coordinate the procurement of food products, packaging, equipment and other operational supplies; and monitor supplier performance in relation to product availability, delivery reliability, quality standards and lead times.
The role will include analysing purchasing volumes and supply requirements, identifying potential supply shortages and disruptions, liaising with approved suppliers regarding product specifications, availability and supply schedules, and preparing analytical reports on purchasing patterns, supplier performance and supply-chain efficiency.
The Procurement and Supply Officer will work with operational teams to assess projected demand and translate operational requirements into appropriate procurement and supply requirements. The role will also involve using business data, enterprise systems and analytical tools to support procurement planning, evaluate supply performance and identify opportunities to improve supply continuity and procurement processes.
Applicants should have a relevant third-level qualification in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline, together with strong analytical, numerical and organisational skills. Relevant experience in procurement, supply operations, inventory logistics, business analytics or a related operational environment is desirable.
Permanent, full-time position , 39 hours per week, Annual remuneration: €36.605, Location: KFC Galway, Co. Galway.
