LIR CHOCOLATES LTD., Navan Bus & Tech Pk, Athlumney, Navan, Co. Meath, C15 CY05Lir Chocolates is seeking an experienced Trainer to join our Human Resources team based in Navan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, assessment and evaluation of training programmes across the business, ensuring employees have the skills, knowledge and competence required to perform effectively in their roles while maintaining compliance standards Location: Lir Chocolates, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland Salary: €39,102.04 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Deliver training programmes including Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, Equality & Diversity, Integrity and other business-critical topics. Assess and validate employee learning and competence within operational roles. Conduct learning needs analysis and develop effective learning solutions. Support and maintain compliance training requirements across the business. Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring training content is accurate, current and appropriately assigned. Coordinate mandatory training for new employees and ensure competence is verified within required timeframes. Partner with subject matter experts to develop training materials and mandatory compliance programmes. Write, review and amend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and One Point Lessons (OPLs). Maintain training records and support achievement of key learning and development KPIs. Research and implement innovative training methods and employee engagement initiatives. Requirements: Experience working in a training role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes such as food safety and allergen awareness. Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Maths and English qualification equivalent to GCSE level or higher. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively. Professional Trainer qualification or certification or equivalent experience. Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS). Experience developing training content and learning programmes including new starter inductions and compliance training.
