Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

 Maintenance on all eleven seven head walking trails

Grass cutting and  strimming on all seven heads walking trails, verge maintenance pruning and cutting of side hedges on walking trails

Maintain safe walkway trails, keeping   walkway  surface  water courses free.

Applying   gravel and wood chip on walkway surfaces. Ongoing repairs and improvement of existing gravel pathways.

Erection of way marker poles, cleaning and maintaining existing trail headboards and signage on all route directional markers 

Maintaining existing trail fencing, painting railings and existing timber fencing.

Erection of new timber fencing and timber poles and wattle fencing where required along walkway routes.

Periodic replacement of walkway marker poles and fitting directional way marker arrows

Periodic cleaning around way marker poles throughout all  walking loops

Picking up litter.
