Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

We are seeking a Caretaker to join the team at the new Darú HQ Community Hub through the Durrow Community Employment Scheme.

Main Duties  
• Opening and closing the Community Hub
• General cleaning and caretaking duties
• Setting up rooms for meetings, classes and events
• Carrying out minor maintenance and reporting repairs
• Keeping the building and surrounding areas clean, safe and welcoming
• Assisting community groups and visitors when needed

We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly and practical, with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
