Production Manager (Manufacturing) 

Employer: Durnin’s Fruit and Veg T/A Ninrud Limited 
Location: Howthstown, Drumconrath, Co. Meath, Eircode: C15 Y2TA
Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week 
Salary: €36,605 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing and processing operations in our busy fruit and vegetable production facility.

Key Responsibilities:
•	Manage the daily running of the production line, including potato processing, fresh vegetable preparation, packing and prepared produce operations
•	Plan production schedules, oversee manufacturing processes and maintain high standards of product quality and presentation
•	Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP and BRCGS standards)
•	Control stock, costs, waste and overall profitability of the production operation
•	Lead, train and motivate the production team
•	Deliver efficient, high-quality output to support our retail, catering and wholesale customers

Person Specification:
•	Previous experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role (ideally within food processing or fresh produce)
•	Strong knowledge of food safety standards (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene essential; experience with HACCP/BRCGS preferred)
•	Good leadership and team management skills
•	Commercial awareness and the ability to drive efficiency and productivity
•	Flexible with availability, including weekends
