Purpose Of the Role: Working closely with the Production Manager and others Production Supervisors, ensuring that all products and processes are managed and completed in compliance with specifications, legal and statutory obligations, customer requirements and highest quality standards throughout the product life cycle. Lead daily meetings to review production plans and provide short and medium terms plans in line with company strategies. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of employees where strong leadership skills are required for the effective supervision of the team to achieve KPIs. Reporting To: Low Care Manager Responsibilities: - Manage and prioritise production activities to meet the demands of the business. - Work cross functionally with all factory teams in terms of planning and ensuring that all products are of the highest standard and produced in a timely manner. - Ensure production safety and quality standards are accomplished. - Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that the production facility meets food safety requirements and to ensure that the best manufacturing practises meet and exceed customer standards. - Monitor production and product standards. Conform to the company HACCP plan. - Respond effectively and efficiently to all non-conformances with appropriate preventive and corrective actions. - Following all Health & Safety procedures and always adhering to the company’s Safety Statement. Identify any risks/hazards and report them to the Production Manager / Quality Team immediately. - Provide the production team with leadership, direction, training and coaching to achieve work objectives and to improve performance and skills. Skills/ Attributes/ Experience: - Leaving Cert qualification or related on the job experience. - Previous experience in food manufacturing. - Microsoft Office experience. - Must have good people leadership, management, and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate all employees. - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong attention to detail.
