STL is currently recruiting a number of Warehouse Pickers (Nights) across 2 locations in Limerick. The Warehouse Picker safely navigates the warehouse environment to locate, select, and prepare goods for shipment. This role directly impacts inventory accuracy, order processing speed, and overall customer satisfaction. The hours of work with be 16.00-00.00 or 00.00-08.00. Key Responsibilities • Order Retrieval: Locate and pick products using paper pick lists, RF scanners • Quality Control: Inspect items for damage, defects, or incorrect labelling during the picking process. • Inventory Management: Report stock discrepancies, low inventory levels, or misplaced items to supervisors. • Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand trucks, or order pickers (ride-on forklifts). • Target Management: Meet daily picking quotas, speed metrics, and accuracy benchmarks. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, PPE requirements and lifting techniques. Required Skills & Qualifications • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift • Tech Literacy: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning hardware. • Attention to Detail: Precision in matching product codes, SKUs, and quantities. • Basic Numeracy: Ability to quickly count, add, and subtract inventory items. • Time Management: Capacity to work efficiently under tight shipping deadlines.
