Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

This role will assist us in the maintenance and upkeep of our busy Pitch & Putt course and clubhouse.
Located in the stunning seaside location of Laytown, our Club runs regional tournaments and competitions.  As our membership is growing each year, we have ambitious plans to develop the Club and our facilities.  This role will assist us in this important work.
While knowledge of Pitch & Putt is a distinct advantage, it is not essential as full training and support will be given.  We require a person who is motivated, willing to learn and is flexible.  This is an outdoor role involving physical work all year round.

Duties:
- Grass cutting to the required height
- Strimming of banks and hedges
- Weeding along edge of course and entrance to the course
- Maintenance of fairways and bunkers
- General cleaning and maintenance of clubhouse, including sweeping, mopping and hoovering
- Correct use, maintenance and storage of all tools and equipment
- Small repairs and painting as needed
- Assist with preparation and set-up for competitions and tournaments
- Assist our members and visitors with any queries
