The Container Inspection & Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and testing shipping containers, storage containers, and related equipment to ensure they meet safety, operational, and regulatory standards. The role involves identifying structural damage, performing repairs, conducting quality inspections, and maintaining accurate maintenance records to support efficient and safe container operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect containers for structural integrity, damage, corrosion, leaks, and wear.
Perform routine maintenance and repair work on containers, including welding, patching, painting, and component replacement.
Assess container condition and determine required repairs according to company and industry standards.
Assisting other members of the depot team with related container preparation and maintenance duties as required.
Conduct pre-service and post-repair inspections to verify quality and compliance.
Maintain inspection reports, repair records, and maintenance documentation.
Ensure containers meet safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
Use welding, cutting, grinding, and hand tools safely and effectively.
Identify and report major defects, safety hazards, or equipment failures.
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to prioritize repair schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Assist with inventory management of maintenance materials, spare parts, and tools.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and container reliability.
Salary: €36,605 per year
Hours: 39 hrs p/w
