This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.


This WPEP work experience placement is at VOYA manufacturing a global company distributing to many countries.  
The Participant will assist and learn techniques in:
-	Goods inwards and outwards 
-	How to pick and pack orders  
-	Order processing 
-	Experience and learn processes
-	Pick and packing accuracy
-	Stock control 
-	International shipping.
 
This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP.

General Training:
-	Product Packaging: Understanding best practices for packaging products securely and efficiently.
-	Shipping and Labelling: Learning proper methods for labelling and preparing items for shipment.
-	Goods In and Out: Managing incoming and outgoing stock effectively.
-	Picking and Packing Orders: Developing skills in order fulfilment and accuracy.
-	Stock Control and Cycle Counts: Gaining experience in inventory management and maintaining stock levels.

Accredited/ Sector Recognised Training:

-	E-learning modules will be provided to enhance knowledge in Health & Safety, including:
-	Manual handling training to ensure safe lifting techniques.
-	General H&S awareness to promote a safe working environment.
-	Forklift training to develop operational skills and meet safety standards.
-	Lean Sigma processes
