Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

To be employed as a Housekeeper/Cleaner on a Community Employment Project at the Enable Ireland Centre at Breakfree Lodge and Pairc Na Coille, Ennis, Co. Clare. 
Garda / Police clearance is required.
Role will be split across two different locations, with flexibility around days and hours in each location to be discussed.

Duties will include:-

To ensure that the Enable Ireland Centre at Breakfree Lodge and Pairc na Coille is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in line with the requirements of the Health, Safety and Welfare at Work Act.

The general up-keep of the premises including, cleaning of kitchen, canteen, helping with the day to day organising of the canteen area for meals.  Any other duties considered appropriate by the Line manager. 

To ensure that cleaning supplies are in stock and have regular consultations with the Person in Charge.

To report to your supervisor any defects or malfunctions in equipment coming to your notice.
