Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The Rathnure Killanne Blackstairs Community Employment Scheme is currently recruiting a Groundsperson to work in Kiltealy Village.
Hours: 19.5 hours per week 

Duties will include: Grass cutting and strimming, Hedge trimming and general garden maintenance, Planting and maintaining flower beds, Weeding, sweeping and litter picking, Maintaining village pathways and public areas, Carrying out minor repairs and general upkeep, Using and maintaining gardening tools and equipment
Assisting with other community projects as required

No previous experience is necessary. Training and development opportunities will be provided as part of the Community Employment Scheme.
