This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.


This is a very exciting opportunity with a two fold experience . You will help with collating and organising the annual Star Awards in Vision Ireland , where we celebrate the volunteers and activation staff in our shops. 
The role will include learning how collate the nominations on sales force and as part of the team , choose the winners. You will also help organise the event and be part of the welcome team at the event .The second element to this role will be to help our Ecommerce department . You will learn how to photograph and upload items to the different platforms as well as helping to coordinate sales and returns.  
This is a training and work experience opportunity, no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection.

The participant will receive general training in the following 
•	Customer Service 
•	Teamwork
•	Salesforce / excel / word 
•	Event organisation and customer service 
•	Online digital displays 
•	How to use the different platforms 
•	They will also receive events management training

Formal Training:
•	Manual Handling
Other formal training will be discussed with the candidate but previous candidates have chosen digital security / marketing or customer service.
