Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

To assist in the implementation of the daily routine and activities within the Centre and outdoor play area including:
Assisting children and colleagues with the daily routine.
Act as a key worker to a group of children, encouraging development and maintain records and portfolio of same.
Organise personal care of children.
Participate in the planning and implementation of the curriculum.
Participate in on-going training and development.

In house Training is provided plus external training leading to the achievement of a QQI (Fetac) Major Award at Level 5.
