We are currently seeking 3 skilled and reliable Car/Motor Mechanic who will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing cars and other motor vehicles to ensure they are safe, roadworthy, and operating efficiently. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and inspections. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment. Repair and replace faulty or worn components, including brakes, clutches, suspension, steering, exhaust systems, and engine parts. Perform oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, and other preventative maintenance. Inspect vehicles to identify potential safety issues and recommend necessary repairs. Carry out engine diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements. Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure faults have been resolved. Use hand tools, power tools, vehicle lifts, and specialist diagnostic equipment safely. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts used, and servicing completed. Follow manufacturer specifications, health and safety procedures, and industry standards. Keep the workshop and equipment clean, organised, and in good working condition. Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues regarding vehicle faults, repairs, costs, and required maintenance. Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Skills and Requirements Proven experience as a Motor/Vehicle Mechanic. Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults. Good knowledge of servicing and preventative maintenance. Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards. Full driving licence is desirable. Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship is desirable. Personal Qualities Reliable and punctual. Hard-working and responsible. Practical and technically minded. Safety-conscious. Honest and customer focused. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Willing to learn and keep up with new vehicle technologies.
