Job Title: Playgroup Leader

Work Locations: Kildare, Dublin, Westmeath, Meath, Laois.
Salary: €18,05 p.a.
Hours: 40hrs/w

About the Role
Tots Childcare is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Playgroup Leaders to join our growing team.

Main Responsibilities
Plan and lead age-appropriate indoor and outdoor play activities.
Supervise children and support their physical, social, emotional and language development.
Prepare safe play areas, activities and materials.
Encourage children’s confidence, independence, creativity and social skills.
Organise and supervise outdoor activities, walks and excursions.
Observe children’s development and maintain the required records.
Communicate with parents, guardians and colleagues about children’s development and well-being.
Follow all health, safety and safeguarding procedures, including reporting accidents or concerns.
Keep toys, equipment and play areas clean, safe and organised.
Work with colleagues to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

Requirements
A minimum QQI Level 5 childcare qualification or recognised equivalent.
A genuine passion for working with children.
The ability to plan engaging play activities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, responsible and child-centred approach.
A willingness to learn and develop.
Successful Garda vetting and reference checks.
