Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

The duties will involve working directly with Children and Educators to create and maintain a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment for young children to learn and develop.
You will work closely with other Educators to deliver high quality education and care that supports the development and well-being of all children.
Alongside our Educators you will foster a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for children and their families.
You will collaborate with fellow Educators and staff to create an effective and supportive team dynamic.
You will be required to ensure a safe, hygienic and engaging environment for children while always maintaining compliance with early years regulations. Thus, cleaning will be a requirement of this role.
You will adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the well-being of children in your care.
The role is part of the Community Employment Scheme and the working week will be 19.5 hours.
