Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times around Men's Shed
Mowing and caretaking of the grounds, weeding of planters
Ensure cleaning products are stocked
Manage heating, lighting, and security systems, ensuring they are in proper working order.
Liaise with  service providers for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
Room setup, chairs, tables etc
Provide guidance to centre users on proper facility use, ensuring compliance with safety rules.
Ensure restrooms are clean, fully stocked with supplies, and in good working order.
Manage bin collections and recycling procedures.
