Stone Development Company Limited, Description of employment: Job Title Stone Fabricator We are seeking a skilled and reliable Stone Fabricator to join our workshop team. Reports to Production Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping and assembling stone components using cnc stone machinery equipment, grinders, and hand tools. This role involves precision work, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Operate cnc stone machinery to accurately cut natural and engineered stone to specified dimensions. Use hand-held grinders and power tools to shape, trim, and complete stone elements. Perform hand polishing to achieve required surface finishes. Create chamfers, arrises, and edge details to specification. Glue and assemble stone components using appropriate adhesives and techniques. Read and interpret fabrication drawings, templates, and job specifications. Inspect final pieces to ensure quality, accuracy, and standards are met. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of tools and cnc machinery. Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe handling of stone materials. Minimum annual remuneration €36,605 per year. Location of employment: 5 Charvey Lane, Rathnew, County Wicklow Hours of work: 39 hours per week.
