Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral is looking for someone to join its Grounds Keeping/Maintenance team. Willingness to work outside in most weathers, to maintain the grounds and the equipment provided, and to turn your hand to minor maintenance tasks in the Cathedral properties is needed. The role aims to offer safety and maintenance training for garden machinery such as mowers, strimmers and chainsaws, certified training in pesticide use and similar training courses as available. Other duties may involve controlling access to parking on the grounds for events and responsibilities for opening and closing the grounds.
