Mackeys Commercials are recruiting an HGV mechanic to join the team in Dungourney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on buses, coaches and trucks plus light commercials and cars.
The role includes carrying out routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and necessary repairs, as well as preparing vehicles for annual CVRT tests.  On call for roadside assistance is also necessary.

The ideal candidate must hold a recognised trade certificate or relevant mechanical qualification and have a minimum of three years’ experience working on heavy goods vehicles together with a minimum Level 6 in HGV mechanics.
A high level of written and spoken English is required for this role. 
Candidates must be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, maintain accurate records of all work completed, and adhere strictly to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
