Role Description Ensure successful development of new product ranges, product improvement projects, on time, to specification within the required budget, quality, safety and efficiency parameters. Continually develop new products for the marketplace in line with customer policies to achieve and increase market share whilst ensuring products meet customer standards regarding cost, quality ingredients, additives, nutrition and legal requirements. Produce kitchen samples of NPD recipes that comply with internal and customer specifications for sending to / presenting to customer Presenting Products to customers including those in UK Knowledge •Food science, Culinary Skills and Nutritional awareness •Passion for food and innovation •Understanding of emerging trends in nutrition, raw materials and core processes •Understand the requirements of both internal and external customers to keep us continually ahead of our competition Qualification •A recognised 3rd level degree in Science or Technology would be desirable. In the absence of this the candidate must have exceptional experience in NPD.
