Self-Employed Business Development Partner Hi Connacht | Flexible Hours | High Recurring Commission

Hi Connacht is expanding ahead of the launch of our new regional digital newspaper, and we're looking for a small number of people to help us introduce an exciting new partnership programme to businesses across Connacht.

Hi Connacht has already built a substantial regional audience across Galway, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo and Leitrim, including a community network of more than 70,000 people and approximately 2.75 million social media impressions per month.

This isn't a typical sales job.

We're looking for friendly, confident people who are comfortable talking to local business owners and building relationships. There are no rigid hours, and the opportunity can be worked flexibly around other employment, studies, family commitments or an existing business.

What makes it different?

This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity, but with an unusually strong commission structure.
Successful candidate will be responsible for making their own tax and PRSI contributions.

For every business you successfully introduce, you receive an initial commission plus an ongoing monthly commission for as long as that business remains a Hi Connacht partner.

Build a good portfolio of local businesses and you can therefore build a meaningful recurring monthly income rather than starting from zero every month.

Full commission details will be discussed with suitable applicants.

The role

You'll identify suitable local businesses, introduce them to Hi Connacht's new business partnership programme and explain how we can help promote them through our growing regional media platform.

This is a relationship-led role rather than high-pressure selling.

You don't need years of sales experience. We're particularly interested in people who are:

Confident and personable
Good communicators
Well connected or active in their local area
Comfortable speaking with business owners
Self-motivated and reliable
Interested in local business, media or community
The opportunity could suit someone looking to build a substantial additional income or simply someone who wants to dedicate a few hours each week to developing a recurring income stream.
