Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

The day to day maintenance of the gardens and grounds of Kells Parish.
Operation and maintenance of gardening equipment and machinery as necessary
e.g. mowers, trimmers, strimmers, leaf blowers, etc.
General horticultural maintenance duties using hand tools and mechanical
horticultural appliances.
Monitor and maintain health of plants and trees, including planting, propagation and
growing of plants for use on the grounds.
Ensure a high level of quality maintenance is achieved through mulching, weeding,
edging, clearing leaf litter across the grounds.
The maintenance and operation of grounds maintenance plant and machinery.
