Custom Compost UC requires 2 HGV Drivers to safely and efficiently transport mushroom substrate from production facilities to farms/customers, using walking floor trailers ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining product quality and full compliance with Irish road transport legislation and RSA standards. Key Responsibilities Operate HGV vehicles (articulated) for scheduled deliveries Load and unload mushroom substrate using walking floor trailers Transport goods in a manner that maintains hygiene and product quality Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, including rural farm locations Complete delivery dockets, logs, and digital records accurately Carry out daily walkaround vehicle checks in line with RSA guidelines Report defects immediately and ensure vehicles are roadworthy Maintain vehicle cleanliness to meet agricultural biosecurity standards Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and farm staff
