This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician looking to join a busy, friendly community pharmacy where they can become an integral part of the pharmacy team.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Pharmacist and wider pharmacy team to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the dispensary and the delivery of a high standard of service to patients.  

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
Accurately process prescriptions and maintain appropriate patient and dispensing records.
Support the management of repeat prescriptions and patient medication requirements.
Assist with stock ordering, receipt, rotation and inventory management.
Liaise professionally with patients, GP practices and other healthcare professionals.
Provide excellent customer service and respond appropriately to patient queries.
Maintain a well-organised, efficient and compliant dispensary.
Support the Pharmacist and wider pharmacy team with the general day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a community pharmacy environment.
Hold a recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification or have relevant practical pharmacy experience.
Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Be comfortable working in a busy dispensary environment.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be organised, dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Have good IT skills and experience using pharmacy dispensing software.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and customer service
