Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

•	Driving: to safely transport service users to/from Enable Ireland Center and other locations as directed
•	Ensure passenger safety at all times whilst using transport
•	Ensure that all equipment is safely secured during travel
•	Report any child protection concern or Health & Safety concern in a timely manner
•	Collecting/Delivering equipment, aids and appliances as required

•	Bus: Ensure that the vehicle is maintained & make daily checks as directed and required
         Report any mechanical concerns to transport manager in a timely manner

•	Caretaking: to assist with the daily upkeep requirements of the building internally and       externally as directed.
