Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Gardening duties:
*Sowing seeds, taking cuttings, potting up, pruning;
*Composting, mulching, feeding and watering;
*Weeding manually and with Weedhex machine;
*Using, maintaining and storing tools and equipment;
*Interacting with visitors to the tunnel/garden and attending workshops;
*Researching plants, environmental issues, and attending training.
*Working with Better Ballyduff and Tidy Towns for general upkeep and development of the tunnel, beds and garden area.
*Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines, wear PPE, attend necessary training.
