Part-Time Kitchen Porter

The Wyatt Hotel, Westport

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.

This is a part-time position with a range of shifts, typically:
7.00am to 3.00pm
1.00pm to 10.00pm
3.00pm to 11.00pm
Applicants should be flexible and available to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends.

Main responsibilities:
Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
Keeping kitchen and wash-up areas clean and organised
Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures
Emptying bins and managing waste correctly
Assisting with deliveries and storing supplies
Supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team during busy periods
Completing general cleaning duties as required

What we are looking for:
A reliable and punctual person
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Someone who works well as part of a busy team
Good organisation and attention to cleanliness
The ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided
The role involves standing for extended periods and safely lifting and moving kitchen supplies and equipment.
