Are you an experienced Facilities Manager with strong leadership, technical FM and client management experience?

Sodexo is looking for a proactive Facilities Manager to lead the on-site hard and soft services team across a PPP Schools contract, ensuring excellent service delivery, compliance and customer satisfaction.

The Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day FM operation, working closely with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage the on-site hard and soft services team.
Oversee PPM, reactive maintenance and lifecycle programmes.
Manage contractors, minor works and small works programmes.
Own the SSOW permitting process, Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks and Near Miss reporting.
Monitor service delivery, contractual compliance and operational performance.
Manage lifecycle expenditure and ensure spend remains within budget.
Act as the key operational contact for on-site issues.
Manage site inductions, records, reporting and materials ordering.
Deliver projects on time, within budget and to specification.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction and best practice.
Build strong relationships with clients, visitors, contractors and internal teams.

About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous Facilities Management management or coordination experience.
Experience managing hard and soft FM services.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Experience in a client-facing FM environment.
Understanding of PPM, lifecycle management and safe systems of work.
Strong commercial and financial awareness.
Ability to interpret and manage commercial contracts.
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
A customer-focused approach with the ability to work at pace without compromising accuracy.
