Employer: Ballylarkin Dairies Limited Location: Ballylarkin, Freshford, Co.Kilkenny Salary: €36,605 per annum Hours: 39 hours per week Position: Full-time Ballylarkin Dairies is a progressive family-run dairy located in Freshford, Co.Kilkenny. We milk approximately 260 cows using modern farming practices and are seeking a reliable and motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team. Main Duties Milking cows Animal health and welfare Calf rearing Feeding livestock Fencing and general farm maintenance Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Any other farm duties appropriate to the role Essential Requirements Previous dairy farming experience Good understanding of livestock handling and welfare Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good level of spoken and written English Full driving licence preferred but not essential Benefits Salary of €36,605 per annum Full-time position – 39 hours per week On-farm accommodation available Friendly working environment Please apply to the vacancy by the following means: emmahickey2010@hotmail.com
