Main Duties:
Read and interpret technical drawings to install equipment & components.
Carry out fabrication and welding of steel components, machinery and equipment.
Perform maintenance, repairs and installation of mechanical equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults on machinery and mechanical systems.
Repair and maintain conveyors, elevators and other mechanical equipment.
Assist with machinery upgrades, fabrication projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Travel to site locations throughout Ireland.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.

Requirements:
Previous experience in a Fitter, Fabricator, Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance role.
Welding and fabrication skills, including MIG, TIG and Arc welding.
Good fault finding and diagnostic abilities.
Experience working with hydraulic and mechanical equipment is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full, clean driving licence.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
