An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Executive to join the management team of GN South Court Hotel, Raheen, County Limerick. This is a full-time position. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated region, leveraging existing industry knowledge and relationships to generate new leads and expand the client base. Sales Strategy & Growth: Work closely with senior management to develop and implement business development strategies that support the company's growth objectives. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, engaging with key decision-makers Market Awareness & Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging market opportunities to identify areas for business growth and development. Sales Performance: Work towards achieving agreed sales targets, KPIs and business development objectives, contributing to the overall success and expansion of the company. Client Retention & Support: Maintain ongoing engagement with clients following the completion of a sale, ensuring a high standard of service, client satisfaction and opportunities for repeat business. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant operations and senior management to identify commercial opportunities, maintain service standards and ensure a smooth transition from client acquisition to service delivery. Skills & Experience Sales & Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, sales, customer service or a client-facing role, with a strong understanding of customer needs and relationship management. Previous B2B sales or business development experience is advantageous but not essential. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with clients, build rapport and negotiate effectively. Commercial Awareness: An understanding of business operations and the ability to identify opportunities to generate revenue, develop new partnerships and support business growth. Self-Motivation & Initiative: A proactive and driven approach, with the ability to work independently. Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Ability to understand client requirements, identify challenges and develop practical, tailored solutions. Organisation & Time Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manmanage competing priorities. Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with colleagues, management and operational teams to deliver a consistent and professional service.
