We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team, reporting to the Directors and
Company Accountant. This role is responsible for building and maintaining financial models,
analysing monthly performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, and providing
financial insights to support business decisions.

Main Duties:
Analyse financial performance, including income, expenditure, margins and operating
costs, and report key trends and variances to senior management.

Compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, determine the causes
of significant variances, and recommend corrective measures.

Lead the budget and forecast process, working with teams across the business to
gather and check figures.

Create and update financial models for planning, covering profit & loss, balance
sheet, and cash flow.

Support management with financial input on investments, pricing, and cost decisions.

Carry out specific financial reviews and modelling when business needs arise.

Review bank reconciliations and cash reports to identify trends for management.

Review accounts payable and receivable trends and working capital to inform
analysis.

Liaise with customers and suppliers on account queries and payment terms.

Analyse supplier pricing and contracts for cost and commercial impact.

Monitor payroll and labour costs against budget.

Recommend improvements to financial reporting and forecasting processes.

Ensure all financial analysis and reporting align with Company policy and relevant
accounting standards.

Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; part-qualified
ACCA/CIMA/CFA an advantage.

Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.

Proven analytical ability.

Strong communication skills.
