Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Required:
Good communication skills both written and verbal;

Responsibilities:
To complete detailed regular security checks of the building and grounds.
To report all incidents to CE Supervisor and log same.
To uphold all policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of all services in Kiltalown House.
To engage in one to one ILP with the CE Supervisor.
To attend any necessary training in and out of house.
In addition to your responsibilities you may be required to undertake tasks assigned to you by the TRP Manager.
Attendance of all Team Meetings when required.
Proper dress code for all caretaker staff to be worn at all times.
