Noel Deasy (Cars) Ltd , New Mallow Road , Cork City , is seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians - Senior Position to join our Skoda and Volkswagen Aftersales team. Hours of Work : Mon - Fri Standard 40 Hr Week This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Volkswagen Group technician looking to develop their career within a professional dealership environment, with a strong commitment from Noel Deasy Cars to ongoing training, technical development and career progression. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate should ideally be: VW Group Certified Technician Certified HVT (High Voltage Technician) Competent in Volkswagen Group warranty processes Experienced in the use of ELSA and ODIS • Capable of identifying, interpreting and following TPIs and diagnostic test plans • Experienced in Volkswagen Group vehicle diagnostics, fault finding and repair Key Responsibilities The Senior Vehicle Technician will be expected to carry out work to a consistently high standard, including: Routine servicing and maintenance Complete Vehicle Health Checks Brake replacement and repair Suspension replacement and repair Timing belt replacement Clutch and gearbox replacement Engine replacement Wheel alignment Electrical and mechanical diagnostics • Following Skoda/ Volkswagen TPIs and ODIS test plans • Completing warranty work in accordance with Volkswagen Group procedures Accurate and comprehensive job-card write-ups Identifying additional work required and promptly notifying Service Advisors Communicating with other departments when required to ensure jobs progress efficiently Maintaining a clean, organised and professional workspace Working to Noel Deasy Cars quality and safety standards Join Noel Deasy Cars At Noel Deasy Cars, we recognise the importance of investing in skilled technicians.
