Aluminium Façades Production Supervisor
Glass & ALU CAD Ltd. – Kells, Co. Meath
Salary: €45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Glass & ALU CAD Ltd. is seeking an experienced Aluminium Façades Production Supervisor to coordinate production in our busy factory specialising in commercial glazing and aluminium façade systems.
A minimum of 10 years' experience working with commercial glazing systems is essential. Applicants must have direct experience in the façades industry. This is a key role working with office management, factory personnel, machining operators and fabrication team leaders to ensure efficient production, quality control and on-time site deliveries.
Key Responsibilities**
 Conduct daily production meetings with office and factory teams.
 Communicate production information, drawings, schedules and project requirements to factory personnel.
 Coordinate factory schedules, workflow and availability of production materials against orders and delivery schedules.
 Coordinate programming and machining of aluminium profiles and hardware accessories with fabrication team leaders.
 Work with CNC operators to check machined components against cutting, milling and drilling programme requirements.
 Coordinate fabrication, assembly, packing and preparation of products for site delivery.
 Manage production quality assurance, inspections and quality control.
 Coordinate workflow between the office, factory, machining shop, assembly, packing, transport and site teams.
 Monitor production progress against specifications and deadlines.
 Provide day-to-day guidance to fabrication team members and liaise with site teams on packing and delivery schedules.
Essential Requirements
 Minimum 10 years' commercial glazing systems experience.
 Direct, hands-on experience in the aluminium façades industry.
 Strong knowledge of aluminium profile fabrication and commercial glazing production.
 Experience coordinating factory production, machining and fabrication activities.
 Ability to interpret production drawings, schedules and technical information.
 Experience working with CNC operators and understanding machining capabilities and limitations.
 Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
 Ability to coordinate multiple teams, work independently and manage competing priorities.
Candidates must be experienced façades professionals capable of coordinating the production process from project information and machining through fabrication, quality control, packing and site delivery. Applications from candidates without relevant commercial glazing or aluminium façades industry experience will not be considered.
