Location Main site in Riverwalk Gort, Co. Galway, with work at other sites across the west of Ireland.

Contract Full-time, permanent.

Hours 39 paid hours per week.

Monday to Thursday: 08:00-17:00; Friday: 08:00-16:00.

One-hour unpaid lunch break each day.

Annual basic salary €48,144.72, excluding overtime.

Basic hourly rate €23.74.

SD BUENO LIMITED is seeking a skilled Carpenter to carry out carpentry work at its main site in Gort, Co.

Galway, and at other sites across the west of Ireland.

Main duties

- Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications.

- Measure, mark out, cut, shape and assemble timber and related materials.

- Carry out first and second fix carpentry, including fitting door frames, doors, skirting boards, architraves

and other timber fittings.

- Install, repair and replace timber components and check completed work for accuracy and quality.

- Use hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment safely.

- Coordinate with other trades and follow site instructions and health and safety procedures.

Requirements

- A relevant carpentry qualification or demonstrable practical experience in the duties listed.

- Ability to read drawings, take accurate measurements and work to specifications.

- Good workmanship, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Appropriate site safety training, including a valid Safe Pass where applicable.

- Availability to work at assigned sites across the west of Ireland.

Overtime will be paid separately at the applicable rates. Pension, sick pay and other employment

conditions will comply with the applicable Construction Sectoral Employment Order.
