Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 


• Planting and Gardening: Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and ground cover, and maintain flower beds and borders.
• Pruning and Weeding: Trim hedges, bushes, and small trees, remove dead or damaged branches, and pull weeds.
• Debris and Litter Removal: Clear rubbish, empty bins, rake leaves, sweep pathways etc
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, perform basic routine checks and repairs on machinery like lawnmowers etc.
• Seasonal Work: Handle tasks such as leaf collection in autumn, planting in spring.
