Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic people person to join our team where we promote choice and independence for our members. 

Key Duties:
Assist in facilitating activities with members
Support members on outings
Operate wheelchair lifts and secure wheelchairs on buses 
Provide personal support where required 
General cleaning and tidying

The Ideal Candidate:
Enjoys working with people 
Promotes a person-centred, inclusive approach.
Works well as part of a team.
Is willing to undertake training, with opportunities to work towards QQI and/or industry-standard qualifications.
Full training will be provided.
