Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

Role involves general upkeep and maintenance of the community workshop and garden to allow community events and activities to take place in a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
Duties include: 
General cleaning duties both indoor and outdoor.
Carry out garden work, lawn cutting and watering garden beds.
Setting up workshop for community activities and cleaning after activities conclude.
Receive deliveries (when required).
Will handle necessary repairs (when appropriate).
Keep a maintenance log and report any issues to manager.
Hours: 19.5 hours per week (times/days are flexible and can be negotiated).
