Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. 

This position is based at Clara Community Swimming Pool.  The hours of work may vary but are predominantly afternoon/evenings. The position is that of a general cleaner responsible for maintenance of all public areas including the dressing rooms and viewing gallery.  At times the position may include helping out on reception and answering the phone.  
This position may not suit anyone with allergic reaction to cleaning products or chlorine.   Personal protective equipment must be used for this position.  The duties are set out by the Pool Manager.  This position will be available in December 2026.
This position is only open to people resident in Ireland who fit the eligibility criteria for Community Employment.
