David Kinneally Construction Ltd KingsMountain, Hugginstown, Kilkenny, R95 DP48 Annual Salary : 48,100 Per Week Hours: 39 We are specialist builders working on agricultural and farm building projects across the region. We are seeking two (2) experienced and reliable Steel Fixers to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be working on a variety of projects including cattle sheds, sheep housing, underground tanks, and concrete yard areas, preparing and securing the steel reinforcement that gives our concrete work its strength and durability. Your main responsibilities will include reading basic drawings and instructions, cutting and bending steel bars and mesh to the correct sizes, and carefully positioning and tying reinforcement in place. You will work on floor slabs and foundations, steel cages for underground tanks, and reinforcement for concrete yards, feed pads, and silage slabs. You will ensure all steel is firmly secured and correctly aligned before concrete is poured, maintain a safe work area, and communicate clearly with the team. We are looking for someone with practical experience as a Steel Fixer. Experience on large slabs and tank bases is an advantage.
