Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
You will support the work of the youth center in developing, organizing, and delivering tailored programs to support the youth learners in the project delivery area. This will range from homework clubs, youth clubs, QQI classes, hobby clubs, soccer clubs, gardening and horticulture, as well as occasional chaperoned trips. Full training will be given. No experience needed. Requirements: • Willingness to engage in training. • Garda vetting. • Positive attitude and willingness to engage. • Motivated and willing to pitch in. Duties: • Dealing with vulnerable children and teens • Assisting in programs and classrooms as needed between 9am and 5pm • Staffing the youthcafé shop from 7.30am one or two mornings a week. • Attending youth clubs (Thurs and/or Fri 6pm – 9pm) • Weekend work in moderation (will be discussed at interview if applicable)
