        Oak Stone Drives & Landscaping is seeking a skilled Stonemason to undertake stone masonry work as part of its outdoor construction, wall-building and paving projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and repairing stone walls, working with natural stone materials, and assisting with stone paving installations in line with project specifications and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

●	Construct, lay and repair natural stone walls, garden walls and retaining walls.
●	Select, measure, cut and shape stone materials to meet project dimensions and specifications.
●	Prepare foundations and wall bases for stone masonry installations.
●	Lay and secure stonework using appropriate mortar, bonding techniques and masonry tools.
●	Carry out pointing, jointing and finishing of stone walls to ensure durability and a high-quality finish.
●	Install natural stone paving slabs and other stone surfaces for patios, pathways and driveways where required.
●	Repair damaged stonework and replace individual stones as necessary.
●	Interpret drawings, measurements and site instructions to ensure accurate construction.
●	Work safely with masonry tools, materials and equipment, maintaining site cleanliness and following health and safety requirements.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

●	Relevant experience in stone masonry, wall construction or a closely related masonry trade.
●	Practical skills in cutting, shaping, laying and finishing stone.
●	Ability to measure accurately and follow technical instructions.
●	Knowledge of masonry materials, tools and safe working practices.
●	Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
