Martin Donovan is seeking to hire a Dairy Farm Assistant for a farm in North Kildare. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to upskill in all aspects of dairy farming. 

Duties to include milking, calf rearing, calving, and general farm work. Weekend work on rotation.

The typical day to day duties include:
 Milking & Herding
 Calf Rearing & Calving
 Vaccinations
 Mastitis Control
 Cow Care – Infections, Treatments
 Lameness Treatments/ Foot bathing
 Bedding & Cleaning cow & calf sheds
 Fencing & General farm maintenance
 Hedge cutting, strimming & spraying

Experience:
 Dairy farm experience necessary and must be committed to achieving herd yield and health targets.
 Good stock skills are essential.
 Must be able to drive tractors / operate machinery (desirable).
