Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.



Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Primary Job Purpose:
To support the ongoing development and maintenance of the working environment.
Duties:
- Upkeep of the work area, in particular the playground and the planters.
- Work with the TRY Programme Team and Solas Project Administration Team.
- Work within existing services to develop and run activities in the locality.
- Help with the upkeep of all Solas Project venues to maintain fire, health & safety regulations.

Other Responsibilities:
- Work with SICCDA on a range of organisational activities.
- Participate in on the job training as necessary.
- Undertake industry standard and accredited training as agreed in the individual learner plan prepared by the CE Supervisor.
- Otherwise assist as directed.
