The plant operator is responsible for operating, monitoring and maintenance of the assets associated with Aqua Operations Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs). The Operator will be expected to implement monitoring control activities and operational changes to ensure the ETPs operates reliably and efficiently to ensure discharge compliance. The Operator will conduct all required tasks as required (both planned and reactive), responding to alarms and will make process decisions based on monitoring of the plant SCADA system. The Operator will also carry out planned maintenance and reactive unplanned maintenance tasks (assisting the plant maintainer for complex tasks) should they arise, ensuring the process assets are in as good condition as possible. The role requires that the process and assets are operated at optimum performance at all times. The Operator will also be expected to maintain analytical data into a computer-based system to record plant performance and be able to use the trends and data to make proactive decisions in conjunction with the Plant Manager The role requirements are for the safe & seamless operation of the plants in accordance with the EA permit. Purchasing consumables, for example Chemicals Monitoring of SCADA and responding to alarms Day to Day Plant Operations Proactive monitoring and reporting Feedback onto planned maintenance systems and reactive maintenance actions Improvement feedback and plans Optimisation Laboratory analysis tests/sampling Support to and from Maintenance Lead
