We are currently seeking Trade-Qualified Mechanical Site Maintenance Fitters to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations at client facilities in West Dublin and Bray, Co. Wicklow. Our team includes experienced fitters who relocate large plant using mechanical and air skates, disconnect and reconnect all mechanical services, and implement technical solutions within complex production environments. Our Kilcoole plant provides full in-house support through our Fabrication Team (Stainless & Mild Steel, Aluminium & Plastic) and a fully equipped Toolmaking Workshop with CNC mills, lathes, surface, and cylindrical grinders. Successful candidates may also assist in the fabrication workshop between site assignments. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul work at client sites (Pharmaceutical and Medical Device facilities). Carry out mechanical fitting, installation, and service work as part of planned and reactive maintenance. Assist in equipment relocation and installation using mechanical and air skates. Conduct troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on mechanical systems. Adhere to all safety and site procedures while working independently or as part of a team. Support fabrication tasks and assist in preparing materials required for site work. Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to deliver high-quality results. Job Requirements: Trade qualification (Fitter, Turner, HVAC Technician, Plumber, or equivalent). Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment (e.g. Process Technician, Mechanical Technician, Maintenance Fitter). Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to work on own initiative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English. Welding capability (MMA, MIG, TIG) and certification preferred. Experience in ISO/BRC environments desirable. Full clean driving licence required. Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, and Working at Heights certifications advantageous (training can be provided if not held). Skills and Attributes: Excellent mechanical and diagnostic skills. Strong focus on safety and quality. Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic work environments. Willingness to upgrade and develop technical skills continuously.
